One of the great things about the ROADRAT is being able to use proper brakes on it because let's face it, a good percentage of drivers are dopey and stupid. Just landed are the fantastic value new Magura Julie HP brakes available for just £100 for a whole bike's worth.

They weigh 420gms per brake, use the same high pressure hydraulics as the Louise brake and they come with 160mm rotors front and rear. Cy's been using a pre-production brake on the front of his ROADRAT since May and it's been faultless. So, upgrade your complete bike to discs for just £700 in total, or go for a set with your frame/fork for just £360. The choice is yours, and a fine one it is too.
